#whynhbca with Pamela R. Tarbell

At the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts (NHBCA), we believe in the power of bringing artists and business professionals together to create a vibrant and thriving community. One of our proudest moments is hearing from those whose lives and careers have been enriched through their involvement with the NHBCA.

In this testimonial, NHBCA Artist Entrepreneur Pamela R. Tarbell shares her experience of participating in our networking events and being commissioned to create artwork for our 40th Annual Arts Awards program. Pam’s story is a testament to the value of fostering connections between the arts and business communities, and how these relationships can lead to unexpected and inspiring opportunities.

An Artist’s Journey with NHBCA

“The New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts creates opportunity for the artists from all disciplines to interact with business professionals. As we get to know each other we build a stronger creative community for all to enjoy. I have attended several Artful Networking events over the years under the able leadership of Tricia Soule, at different art venues, and continue to meet new artists and businesspeople from around the state.

I was honored to be commissioned to paint six pieces for the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts 2024 Gala Awards Event. A video was created of me and shown during the program. It was truly a night beyond my wildest expectations, and I shall always be grateful for this opportunity the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts gave me.

Artists and business professionals working together builds a stronger community and enriches everyone’s lives.”
