The Factory on Willow, located in Manchester, NH, is a 90,000 square-foot, four-story mill building originally constructed in 1904 as a shoe factory.

Today, it serves as a mixed-use residential and commercial property featuring over 60 studio apartments, Airbnb accommodations, event space, a food truck patio, and a distillery. Additionally, the AiR program at the Factory hosts six artists annually from around the globe.

The Factory’s Artist In Residence (AIR) program aims to host up to six artists from around the world each year. Selected artists receive stipends for room and board, food, and art supplies, allowing them to concentrate fully on their creative practice. At the end of each residency, the artists hold an exhibition in the Factory’s event space and invite the community to celebrate their evolving bodies of work.
