Drawing Inspiration
Drawing Inspiration: A Resource for Artists was a collaboration between the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts and the Visual Arts Department at NHTI to create an augmented reality (AR) resource featuring three-dimensional objects that served as an interactive tool for artists and students creating original two-dimensional works of art. The featured objects were foundational elements that had been utilized in classrooms and artist studios around the world for centuries. Drawing Inspiration: A Resource for Artists was an ideal tool for distance learning. It allowed teachers to offer online students free access to augmented reality models, providing them with the experience of drawing from life no matter their location. The NHBCA was committed to collaborating with individuals and organizations who shared its vision of creating new pathways for artists to develop their creative practices and increase opportunities to build sustainable businesses.
