ART IS GOOD FOR THE BOTTOM LINE

The New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts has always looked to further connect businesses and the arts throughout the state. Brady Sullivan Properties has learned how important the relationship between the two industries (arts and business) is. We believe that supporting the arts also impacts our bottom line. Companies that invest in the local arts community are also adding value to their enterprise. The arts help us to retain talent and grow our business.

For many years, we have worked with different organizations to incorporate their student/client artwork into our commercial buildings. We also work with local historic associations to bring pieces back to life in our mill communities. If you walk through any of our residential mill properties, you will see large black and white photos of the original millworkers in that building – it’s pretty amazing to see the history in the building you are residing in, and how far we have come as a community.

If someone is not part of an arts organization, I would encourage them to start supporting a local organization and get involved with what they are doing in the community. This will not only help increase their company’s exposure in the community, but also help increase awareness of local art programs and how the two industries can work together for a greater purpose.
