Talented workforce

“There has never been a more important time to support the arts community in New Hampshire. The cultural organizations in New Hampshire have been hit particularly hard with the economic fallout from the pandemic. As business leaders we must step up and support the organizations in our state to ensure that they not only survive but thrive. A strong arts community is an essential part of New Hampshire, particularly when recruiting new talent to our organizations.

McLane Middleton has a history of supporting the arts. As members of the NHBCA we are able to coordinate our support with other businesses to have an even greater impact. New Hampshire is fortunate to have a thriving artist population. Our membership in NHBCA allows us to reach artists and cultural organizations throughout the state.

At McLane Middleton we believe that participation in the arts is important so we actively encourage our colleagues to volunteer on the boards of cultural organizations. In addition, as a firm we provide our colleagues with discounted or free tickets to events in New Hampshire. We also hold client and colleague events at cultural institutions. In 2019, in celebration of the firm’s 100th anniversary, we held our colleague holiday party at The Palace Theatre with a special showing of A Christmas Carol. It really was a memorable evening for our colleagues and their families.

NHBCA events allow our colleagues an opportunity to network and build relationships with other professionals in the arts and business communities. Investing in the arts is good for our firm, our clients, and our colleagues.”
