Business in the Arts Awards May 14 Gala – 25 Businesses Nominated

The 28th annual Business in the Arts Awards will be held Monday, May 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Center of New Hampshire – Radisson Hotel in Manchester. Sponsored by the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts, the gala will honor the twenty-five New Hampshire businesses nominated for this year’s awards. The evening highlights a celebration of business support for the arts and entertains with a performance showcase of drama, literature and music. The grand finale is the announcement of the Award winners.

Rebecca Lavoie, author and producer and host at NH Public Radio, is the master of ceremonies for the festivities. The performances include the Nashua Flute Choir, a reading by Portsmouth Poet Laureate John-Michael Albert, a musical scene from “Side by Side by Sondheim” by The Acting Loft and Manchester Community Music School’s Ukulele Social.
